L-Carnitine is an amino acid found in high concentrations in heart and liver tissue, where it participates in metabolizing fatty acids into energy in the mitochondria. L Carnitine also facilitates the metabolism of carbohydrates and enhances the rate of oxidative phosphorylation. L-Carnitine works synergistically with Co-Q10, an antioxidant and energy co-factor that is found in the inner membrane of the mitochondria.

Ingredients
Biosint L-Carnitine is manufactured by Sigma-Tau Industries, S.p.A. (Rome, Italy), the pioneer in L-Carnitine science.
DuraCarn L-Carnitine Fumarate is a superior, stable form of L-Carnitine and is 58% elemental carnitine. 862 mg of L-Carnitine Fumarate yields 500 mg elemental L-Carnitine.

Other Ingredients: Cellulose, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide. Capsule consists of gelatin. Contains NOcommon allergen.
